When they opened it, they found the man standing there with a smile on his face. He said he had found what he was looking for—the lost loved one he had been searching for all these years.

It turns out that the man was the family's long-lost grandfather who had been missing for decades. He had been searching for them all this time, and finally found them. The family was overjoyed to be reunited with their grandfather, and the surprise ending to their horror story was one they would remember forever.
