Alice was walking along the deserted streets of her small town, the only sound being her footsteps. The sun had started to set and the shadows seemed to be getting longer with every step she took. Suddenly, she heard a strange noise coming from a nearby alley, and she decided to investigate.

As she got closer, Alice could make out a faint whispering sound. She crept closer and listened, trying to make out what was being said. It sounded like two people were arguing in hushed tones. She was about to turn around and leave when a loud crash echoed through the alley.

Alice was about to run away when she heard a familiar voice. It was her best friend, Sarah. She cautiously entered the alley and saw Sarah slumped against the wall, a trickle of blood running down her forehead. In front of her was a tall man with a menacing look on his face.

Alice was about to scream for help when the man suddenly spun around and pointed a gun at her. He demanded to know what she had heard. Alice was so scared that she could barely speak, but in a trembling voice she managed to stammer out that she had heard an argument.

The man seemed to relax a bit and he lowered the gun. Then he revealed the shocking truth - Sarah wasn't his victim, she was his partner. They had been planning a heist and their argument had been about how to carry it out.

Alice couldn't believe it - her best friend was a criminal! The man then invited them both to join in the heist and they accepted. The three of them managed to pull off the heist and escape with the loot.

Alice was in shock, but she was also exhilarated. She had never done anything like this before and she couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. The three of them had pulled off the impossible - but what Alice didn't know was that Sarah and the man were actually planning to double-cross her.

Alice was about to find out the hard way that crime doesn't pay. When the police arrived to arrest them, Sarah and the man had already made off with the loot, leaving Alice to take the fall.
